Kivalo’s Owl Knife is a stylish and respectful way to show your love of nature. The handle of the knife is designed to resemble the wise seer of our forests, the owl. The design gives you a good grip and is also special - you don’t see a knife like this every day!

The knife is made of Finnish birch and birch veneer (dyed through). It features a Carbon Steel (105 mm, 80CrV2, HRC 59) blade and brass ferrule. The Owl Knife is finished with the natural colour wax and high-quality handcraft at the Kivalo’s workshop in Lapland.

PS. The carbon steel blade may rust, so it is recommended to dry and/or clean it thoroughly after the use. If necessary, the blade may be protected by treating it with unsalted oil. Sharpening is possible, for example, with a grindstone or a diamond sharpener.
